Japan is probably the most abstruse and exciting of all the industrialized countries on Earth. Samurai- and Geisha traditions live side by side with the manga culture and experimental music and theatre. The streets are crowded with Japanese teenagers with the colours of the rainbow in their hair, "Toyota/Sony" gentlemen in dark suits and women triping along in traditional dresses.
You live in a Japanese host family, usually in a larger city - don't forget to take your shoes off! You will have initiate language training which makes you able to follow the school work. It will be tough to start with, but after 4 months it usually comes as easy as pie for our students.
You will watch sumo wrestling live, eat real sushi as well as discover tomorrows export sucesses to the rest of the world! If you want to get a unique profile, get to know a special society, and really push your limits - Japan is the country to strike!
