Soft Landing Camp Germany
In summer 2010 the camp is held Speyer, a town of 50.000 inhabitants 25 km south of Mannheim.
The 9-day camp consists of language training, useful information about German culture, practical training (such as using public transportation, mailing letters, finding directions, shopping, etc.) and some sight seeing. but also enables the students to make friends with exchange students from all over the world.
You will be attending some German classes, there will be 2 - 3 language class levels (depending on the total number of participating students). Some days are filled with classes, some days you have half a day classes and other half sight seeing.
During the free time the students learn about German culture and habits, and you don't necessarily think you are attending a class. You will be having fun with the other exchange students and it's combined with useful information.
There will be an excursion to Mannheim and/or Heidelberg, as well as sightseeing in Speyer itself.
Hostel stay, full board, language training, sightseeing and activities are included in the camp. The camp venue varies from year to year.
