The fact that Swedes love Australia is not hard to understand. Australians are nice, friendly, and generally easy. Families who go to the beach and have BBQ's on Christmas Eve cannot be anything but relaxed and sociable. Or no worries, as they usually say themselves.
Life down under is inspired by nature and climate. If you are open for adventures and interested in sports you will guaranteed have a full schedule. Sailing, surfing, Australian rules football, rugby and cricket is just a few of all the sports you can try with your class mates and host family. In Australia most people do sport, both old and young people.
The Australian accent reminds you of the British. Some traditions are also left from the time of being a British colony, even if Australia on its own has created the relaxed attitude around things. Here being laid back is since long life rule!
